    Our response to COVID-19

    Update as of 6/1/2020:

    As we closely monitor updates from the Alameda County Public Health Department regarding the re-opening phase after shelter-in-place ends, OACC will continue to remain closed to the public at this time.

    Please check our website, email info@oacc.cc, or call (510) 637-0455 before visiting our center to receive the most up-to-date information. We will continue to seek guidance from the above agency and public health officials before reopening our center to the public.

    We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Until then, please stay healthy and practice safe social distancing.

    Update as of 3/15/2020:
    As of today, the City of Oakland has issued an update expanding closures of additional City facilities which include the Oakland Asian Cultural Center. Effective immediately, OACC will be closed to the public until further notice. OACC staff will notify and work with affected partners to mitigate the impact of this closure. We hope everyone stays safe and healthy, and look forward to welcoming you back soon.

    Updated 3/13/2020:

    As of Friday, March 13th, we have decided to keep our doors open according to the following business hours*: Monday~Thursday 12pm-6pm.

    We will continue to maintain cleanliness of our facilities and encourage visitors to follow posted health tips as well as the latest recommendations provided by the Alameda County Public Health Department and Centers for Disease Control.

    *Sundays and select Saturdays will be closed until further notice.

    At OACC, we take our staff, program partners, and audiences’ well-being and safety seriously. We are doing our best to ensure that OACC stays clean and infection-free. Please follow the health tips posted at our facility when you visit.
