Advanced Tai Chi with Sifu William Dere
Thursdays
1 PM – 2 PM
This is a journey into exploration of Taijiquan energy development and practical skills for individuals who already knows one or more forms. Practitioners who are interested in developing a better understanding of what Taijiquan skills are with respect to internal energy, release (Song), intention (Yi), and how to practice push hands (a skill that involves the use of energy, softness and relaxation to overcome external force) can join. There will also be emphasis on Qigong for development of internal energy, and relaxation/release or Song. This is a class where all attendees including the instructor can develop higher level practical skills in taijiquan through partner practice; and through this practice to take what is experienced back to the practice of the Taijiquan form in an endless cycle to enhance our skills.
