Calling All Oakland Youth!!!

The City of Oakland Youth Advisory Commission (OYAC) is excited to announce an upcoming youth-to-youth funding opportunity for improving relations between law enforcement, community, and youth in Oakland

The Opportunity: Apply for up to $7,500 to fund your project idea!


Minimum Qualifications:

□   Project must be created and led by youth aged 13-21 in partnership with an Adult Ally

□   Project must be sponsored by a 501-c3 nonprofit organization

□   Project must serve City of Oakland residents

Timeline: Applications will be due by May 17, 2017 and grantees will be selected in mid-June. Grants will be issued in late-August/mid-September 2017. Project planning and implementation should take place between August 2017 and June 2018.
